Cattle Australia was formed to unite and advocate on behalf of the grass-fed beef industry to secure a profitable and sustainable future.
CA is responsible for developing and driving contemporary policy; guiding research, development, and adoption (RD&A) and marketing investment for the sector; and advocating on all matters important to the Australian beef industry.
Our democratically elected representatives provide a direct link to Australia’s more than 52,000 grass-fed cattle producers, to ensure producers themselves are pivotal in the identification of priorities, formation of policy and roll-out of advocacy efforts.
Cattle Australia has three categories of membership:
This ensures that both grass-fed cattle producers and industry organisations can get involved in shaping the future of the industry.
Signing up for membership is an easy process. All you need to do is complete the application form for the membership category you would like to join.
A piece of history is up for grabs at Cattle Australia’s Cattle Connect 2025, as riders chase the prize of the first-ever winner of the CA Cup teams campdrafting event and the CA Jackpot individual competition.
Due to the huge interest in competing in the inaugural event, the competition format has been expanded from the CA Cup team event, to now include the CA Jackpot title for individual riders, thanks to the support of the Australian Campdraft Association (ACA) and prize sponsor Ceres Tag.
Complete the expressions of interest form below and CA will contact you and provide advance notice of when the 24-hour registration window opens with ACA for the individual competition.
The teams event has a limited field – to enter a team of three riders, contact either April Dahlberg or Sara Cue at Cattle Australia to confirm their nomination and payment of the $1000 entry fee.
