Tahna Jackson

NT Farmers Association

Tahna has over 25 years’ experience working with people within the agricultural sector. She is a fourth-Generation farmer, who joined NT Farmers in April 2022 from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, The National Recovery and Resilience Agency to manage a CRCNA project called ‘Supporting Landholder Capacity for Quality Development Applications Across Northern Australia. Prior to that she worked as a Farm Liaison Officer for the whole of QLD housed in the Rural Financial Counselling Service and did over 11 years with the broadacre industry group, AgForce Queensland. Tahna and her husband, own and operate a farm situated in the Mareeba Shire (QLD). ‘Stockade Farm’ is a mixed operation including a pastured raised free range egg business. Tahna has served on various boards and advisory groups and is currently on the program committee for Developing North Australia Conference.

Hannah Leu

NT Farmers Association

Hannah is a Project and Extension Officer with NT Farmers Association and has been with the organisation since August 2023. Raised on a mixed farming operation in Haly Creek, Queensland, Hannah has worked in agricultural advocacy and emergency management sectors over the past 10 years. In her current role, Hannah supports existing and emerging cropping enterprises across the Northern Territory to improve their knowledge and adoption of Best Management Practices. Hannah is part of the Program Committee for the Northern Australia Food Futures Conference and is the Lead for Marketing and Communications.

Bron Christensen

Kimberley Pilbara Cattlemen's Association

Bron brings more than 25 years’ experience across a wide range of industries including beef, cotton, irrigation and rural health to the role.  Raised on a mixed farming/grazing property in Theodore, Central Queensland, Bron and her husband own and operate their own grazing property in her hometown. Bron has also served in key leadership roles including Executive Officer with The Leucaena Network, Secretariat for the North Australia Beef Research Council (NABRC), Company Secretary for Theodore Water Pty Ltd and Regional Manager and myBMP Auditor for Cotton Australia. She has also served on various boards and advisory groups including Chair of the National Farmers Federation (NFF) Farm Business and Economics committee, a member of AgForce’s Ag Business committee, and as a Director on the Central Queensland Health and Hospital Service (CQHHS).

Dan Raymond

Ord River District Co-Operative (ORDCO)

Dan Raymond is CEO of ORDCO a farmers cooperative in Kununurra WA.  ORDCO has been operating for 61 years and has been a key driver of the Ord River Irrigation Area. In his role Dan drives marketing of much of the farm produce out of the region and coordinates the team to provide inputs and handle outputs from farm. Dan has worked throughout SE Asia having spent 15 years based in Solomon Islands, Indonesia. PNG and other countries in various consulting and leadership management roles.  This has included extensive involvement with bulk imports and exports which he has been able to bring to his current role.
