Australia's Premier Agronomy Event is Heading North!
We’re delighted to announce the 2026 Australian Agronomy Conference will be taking place in tropical Darwin from 1 - 4 June 2026.
For the first time in our 45-year history, the conference will be held in the Northern Territory — reflecting the exciting growth and innovation happening across agriculture in the north.
Our last event in Albany brought together more than 360 delegates and 160 speakers. We look forward to building on that success in Darwin and hope you can join us once again for Australia’s premier agronomy event.
Theme: "Agronomy for a Diverse Future"

The Australian Agronomy Society acknowledges the Larrakia people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the 2026 Australian Agronomy Conference will be held in Darwin. We recognise their enduring connection to land, sea, and community, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples joining us for this event and throughout Australia.
