Getting to Darwin

Book your flights early to avoid disappointment. Darwin is a harder place to get to than Australia's more populated cities on the east coast. Darwin International Airport is a major gateway to Australia for international flights, offering easy access to and from Europe, North America and of course Asia. Darwin is a three to four hour flight from most Australian capital cities. It is two hours to Denpasar, four hours to Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City, and six hours to Shenzhen.

Domestic flights are provided by Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin and Airnorth.

International flights are serviced by Jetstar, SilkAir,  Virgin and Donghai Airlines.

To check flight times and availability for each airline, please see below.

Please note that all passengers arriving in Australia are required to comply with local immigration, customs and strict quarantine regulations. You will also cross the International Date Line and lose a day coming here (but gain a day on your way home!).
